WebLogistix Invoice Management
On-demand application aims to give enterprises real-time, "on-demand" visibility into cash flow management
Brussels — January 16, 2008 — WebLogistix last week rolled out a new invoicing application designed to offer visibility into an organization's cash flow management.
Invoice Management was designed to enable companies to reduce costs and gain control of critical spend management processes. WebLogistix said in a communiqué that the new on-demand Invoice Management solution, combined with WebLogistix's suite of transport management solutions, creates a fully integrated, on-demand procure-to-pay solution offering.
Designed to eliminate inefficient, paper-driven invoicing processes through automated and Web-based workflow processes, the solution can help medium and large enterprises more effectively manage their financial assets and their supplier relationships.
Streamlining P-to-P Processes
Invoice Management enables WebLogistix users to streamline purchasing and payment processes, as well as leverage supplier contracts for improved performance. Within the WebLogistix Network, the Invoice Management solution can help buyers and suppliers transacting electronically to manage their cash flow with a workflow approval process.
WebLogistix believes that as these buyers and suppliers gain visibility into the invoice processing cycle, they become enabled to make more strategic spend management decisions.
"With this new on demand invoicing solution, finance and procurement professionals now have complete visibility and traceability into the entire order-to-cash process, meeting compliance requirements and reducing off-contract spending," said Edgardo Ladrón de guevara, CIO of WebLogistix.
Potential benefits of the new Invoice Management solution include reducing the burden and accounts payable costs associated with manual, paper-driven processes so personnel can focus on core competencies; gaining a complete, real-time dashboard view into the order-to-pay process to improve financial reporting and meet compliance requirements; and processing invoices faster and more accurately to avoid penalties, duplicate payments, and overpayments.
Invoice Management is available immediately in all geographies. Pricing is available upon request, WebLogistix said.
